3. The insights News Tool closes down with no warning – what do I do?
If you have closed your computer or otherwise have been separated from your internet provider during file download (pictures, RSS feeds etc.), this can give some problems as the application continues to download files that are not available. Re-start the Insights News Tool and there should be no problem.

4. I started installing the Insights News Tool but got an error message and the install process was terminated.
Make sure your computer is connected to the internet when you install the insights News Tool. You need to be on-line during installation otherwise you are unable to get the necessary files to successfully complete the installation.

5. Why do I have to install .net?
The Insights News Tool requires that .net is installed on your computer. The install-program automatically tests if .net is already available on your computer and if it’s not, starts downloading. You will have to accept the installation of .net to be able to install the Insights News Tool.

6. Why are the content fields in my Insights News Tool blank?
There can be several reasons for this. If it’s the fields that relate to information from Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Dynamics business partners it is most likely because there has been posted no information relevant for your role. If it’s the field for public RSS feeds (“My news-feeds”) it is because you haven’t added any feeds.

7. I get an error message when I add a new RSS feed under “My news-feeds”
RSS feeds are supported in most cases but some RSS feeds are not supported, please write us on support@connectingcubes.com and specify the problem, and please attach the address of the RSS feed which cannot be used in the Insights News Tool.

8. How do I install the Insights News Tool on my 64-bit operating system?
Currently the Insights News Tool is undergoing a retrofit to re-enable 64-bit compatibility. Send us an e-mail and we’ll let you know once this has been completed: support@connectingcubes.com. Write “64-bit operating system” in the subject line.

9. How come the partner(s) I work with and would like to get information from is not on the list?
The Insights News Tool is subscription based and only partners who have chosen to subscribe to Insights News Tool as a communications service will be on the list of content providers.
